Advancing MRI Sciences for Better Clinical Practice
RIO Institute of MRI Sciences (RIMS) is an educational initiative developed in association with RIO Scans & Labs, Tirunelveli, under the guidance of Dr. Pritha Rajesh, Chief Radiologist and Director, with the aim of advancing MRI education, safety, and clinical excellence.
The program is designed for MRI technologists, PG doctors, junior radiologists, and radiology professionals who want structured exposure to real-world MRI practice.
Clinical learning supported by advanced imaging infrastructure
On-site programs at RIO Scans are designed as a combination of focused theory sessions and supervised practical exposure. Training will utilize the center’s state-of-the-art MRI and CT imaging infrastructure, including two MRI systems and CT scanners, along with smart simulators for structured learning where applicable.
This blended approach allows participants to connect MRI physics, safety, protocol selection, patient workflow, image quality, and artifact troubleshooting directly with clinical practice.

One-Day MRI Fundamentals & Safety Workshop
A practical introductory workshop covering MRI basics, safety, sequences, image quality, and clinical applications.
1-Week Clinical MRI Observership
Focused exposure for PG doctors and technologists through case discussion, workflow observation, and protocol learning.
Extended Fellowship Pathway
Expandable structured learning pathway from 1 month up to 3 months, based on participant goals and center feasibility.

Jigimon brings practical international MRI training experience with 30 years of MRI experience, including 16 years as a Global Clinical Applications Consultant and 10 years as Clinical Instructor for Kuwait University Allied Health B.Sc Radiology.
